The most desired
game awards in central
& eastern europe
The Central & Eastern European Game Awards is the most important award for game developers in this part of Europe. We want to celebrate and promote the CEE game industry together.
The most recognisable game awards in Central and Eastern Europe.
The Central and Eastern European region is a large, important, and highly creative yet often underestimated part of the global games industry, boasting more than 1,000 studios and bringing together almost 30,000 highly skilled developers and specialists.
Established in 2018, the Central & Eastern European Game Awards were created as a collaborative project between game industry organizations from the Central and Eastern European region to honor the best games produced and released by local studios in the current year.
The final gala, during which the winners are awarded CEEGA statuettes, is organized by the Creative Industries Institute (IPK) and is held periodically — annually in autumn — in the Earth Hall of the Poznań International Fair, on the occasion of the Poznań Game Arena (PGA) and the accompanying Game Industry Conference (GIC).
Watch the 2025 edition
For the latest eighth edition, in 2025, the CEEGA brought together the best games created in Central and Eastern Europe. The awards ceremony took place on 24 October during the Poznań Game Arena and Game Industry Conference in Poznań. The jury selected four titles competing for the award in each category and then chose the final winners by voting. The 2025 edition featured ten award categories, including Best Game, Visual Art, Audio, Design, Narrative, Technology, Hidden Gem and Best Mobile Game, as well as two special Code: The Rights awards. The ceremony attracted a large audience of games industry professionals, creators and gaming enthusiasts.
We want to highlight the best games of the current year.
The Creative Industries Institute (IPK), organizer of the CEEGA, makes sure that the event is a celebration of the gamedev industry of the highest quality.
Organizations appoint the Jury, holding two members from each country, a journalist and an industry professional. The Jury creates nominations in 8 categories and finally chooses the awardees. We are planning to develop the category list further — stay tuned.
16 organizations, one jury.
CEEGA was created as a joint project of the game industry organizations from the region. The 16 organizations from Central and Eastern Europe nominate two people from each country for the jury — usually specialist journalists or game industry professionals.
Eight categories, one vote each.
The judges cast their vote for the winners in categories such as Visual Art, Audio, Design, Narrative, Hidden Gem, Technology, Best Mobile Game and, most importantly, Best Game.
One statuette, one stage in Poznań.
By voting, the jury selects the finalists who receive the CEEGA statuette. The culmination of the project each year is the final gala in Poznań, where the jury announces the award winners.
International community in Central and Eastern Europe.
CEEGA brings together game industry organizations from across the Central and Eastern European region into a single jury and a single ceremony.
Each partner organization nominates two representatives — a specialist journalist and an industry professional — who together decide the nominees and, ultimately, the winners in every category.
The final gala is hosted in the Earth Hall of the Poznań International Fair, alongside the Poznań Game Arena (PGA) and the Game Industry Conference (GIC).
